To the reader: To the reader: This is not fluff romance, it is DARK ROMANCE. Ricardo is a man who will stop at nothing to get the woman that he has set his sights on. This story has stalking and blackmail elements woven within the story line. Ricardo is an extremely Alpha male. If these things bother you, this is probably NOT the book for you. This is a story of dark, twisted love. This reading material is recommended for audiences 18+Note: This book is rated R and recommended for an audience of 17+Dark Romance Series, is a series that I base on being not quite as dark as 'dark erotica;' but yet edgier and darker than the genre of 'romance.'
Think of the alpha vintage male that our grandmothers read and fantasized about in the old romance novels, but add a contemporary twist and darker edge to him.
You get all of the alpha, angst, and edgy male, but with a dark brooding romantic twist. Thus you are not left feeling shell shocked, as if the heroine has been abused, or mistreated in any way.
If you are a reader who enjoys the alpha male, the man who makes no apologies for his brash behavior, and at times will even go so far as to blackmail, or kidnap, in order to make a point, or in order to obtain the woman that he craves, obsesses over, and has set his sights on; then this is the series for you.
In this book: Juanita, a cage fighter who gets caught stealing from a high ranking Colombian Official, is subjected to a forced marriage, in a foreign country; as the only payment for retribution of her theft.

To the reader:
Though my books do not fall under the 'urban' or 'street' genre, they do deal with urban issues.
The Alpha males in my books are many times involved in criminal activity; therefore there is sex and cursing within the story line. As an Author, I try to keep my stories as tasteful as possible while still remaining true to my characters.
The men in my stories are over the top Alpha males, who will do anything to get the woman that they have set their sights set on. If any of these things offend you, then this is not the series for you.
I do not write stories that leave you hanging in hopes of you having to buy the next book. My stories are complete and will not leave you feeling as if you were forced into buying a sequel. Though my books come in series, each book is capable of standing alone and can be read without having to go through a numerical sequence. I also go out of my way to keep my pricing fair to the reader, because these books are 'self-published' and they are not as long as a standard published book would be.
I chose to self-publish these fiction books in order to build up a fan base. As is the case of any other writer, I am growing and learning daily. I am constantly researching and studying in order to better myself for the people who enjoy my books. As my fan base grows and finances come along with that growth, I can promise my readers the traditional published and edited books. Though I am not a world renowned Author, I do have a very vivid imagination and the capability to tell a very emotive and provoking story.
